Here I am going to give you information about five types of VPN protocols.
1- L2TP : Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol :
The L2TP protocol has a Full Form layer 2 tunneling protocol. Which provides shelter to the entire network. It extracts encrypted and authenticated data with the IPSec protocol. L2TP and IPSec then develop a secure channel. L2TP works with the exchange of data packets with two peers. If one is building a tunnel, the other data is ready to travel on the frame. Once connected, the Internet is allowed to pass without interruption.
2: PPTP - Point to Point Tunnel Protocol:
It is a Microsoft product. This VPN consists of point to point protocol. And this also works on the tunnel protocol. Today's Time PPTP VPN is considered the safest VPN. As it provides protection to virtual networks from versatile conventions
Puppet works in 2 ways for network security. The first one tunnel two connection network is created, the data to run between this tunnel remains authentication and encrypted. Data passes through them comfortably without any interruption.
3: SSTP - Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol :
Its full form is secure socket tunneling protocol. It is quite popular. SSTP is required for 2048 bit SSL / TLS authentication and 256 bit SSL for encryption. SSTP is built entirely by Microsoft. But the biggest drawback here is that this developer does not have access to the underlying code.
The biggest feature in SSTP protocol is that its security is good and it is difficult to block and it is good for third party customers.
4: OPEN VPN :
open VPN is an open VPN source protocol. This is quite popular because you can do it easily. This gives its developer access to the underlying code. It is quite popular due to the 2048-bits RSA authentication, Encryption of aes-256 bit and 160-bit sha1 hash algorithm.
Here hard Encryption with open source is also very popular with slower speed.
5: IKEv2 - Internet Key Exchange Version 2 :
ikev2 is a good common vpn protocol that provides a secure key exchange. This is the same vpn protocol as L2tp. Which is paired with IPSEC for encryption and for authentication. This protocol is good enough to reconnect temporary networks.
It is quite simple to use in mobile, it is open protocol VPN and is considered good enough for third party.
